African Energy Week brought together international energy companies, industry partners and decision-makers in a highly competitive exhibition environment.
For Hamad Energy, the opportunity was about more than occupying an exhibition stand. It was about presenting an established Angolan energy business with the confidence, clarity and professional presence expected on an international stage.
The company had a broad range of specialist services to communicate, multiple branded deliverables to prepare and a fixed event deadline.
The challenge was to create a connected exhibition experience that could:
Every element needed to feel intentional, professional and unmistakably Hamad Energy.

The approach was not to reinvent Hamad Energy's brand, but to strengthen how it was communicated.
Building on its established red, black and white identity, LKD developed a more distinctive visual direction that combined technical capability, authentic energy imagery and confident corporate messaging.
The central campaign platform was: LOCAL ROOTS. GLOBAL REACH.
Supported by the message Angolan capability. Global opportunity., the creative direction reflected Hamad's strong local foundations and international ambitions.
Hamad's established belief in the power of exchange remained an important part of the story.
The visual system brought together:
The exhibition stand structure and construction were supplied by Scan Display. LKD developed a new creative direction for the branded exhibition graphics, replacing the initial proposed graphic treatment with a more cohesive visual approach.
The strategy extended beyond the stand itself.
Every brochure, presentation, screen graphic, branded gift and staff garment became part of one connected brand experience.

The final programme brought together multiple creative disciplines, specialist suppliers and production workstreams.
A coordinated suite of corporate and exhibition materials was developed, including a comprehensive 16-page company profile, a condensed exhibition brochure and professionally designed business cards.
The materials were designed to communicate Hamad's technical capabilities more clearly and support meaningful business conversations.
Premium print specifications and finishing details reinforced the corporate presentation.
A fully editable PowerPoint presentation was created for Hamad Energy to update and reuse in future meetings and business presentations.
LKD also developed branded motion graphics and a video storyboard for the exhibition screen, complementing the company's existing corporate videos.
A coordinated digital communication campaign supported Hamad's presence before, during and after African Energy Week.
This included LinkedIn and Instagram content, event announcements, branded graphics, exhibition updates and post-event communication.
A new LinkedIn company page was also established to strengthen Hamad's ongoing digital presence.
A carefully selected corporate gifting programme was developed to extend the Hamad Energy brand beyond the exhibition stand.
The work included product sourcing, branding artwork, supplier coordination, production specifications, quality checks, packaging preparation and assembly instructions.
Branded staff clothing for exhibition and travel use, together with selected corporate accessories and lapel badges, created a more consistent professional presentation for the team.
A detailed scale model of the Hamad Eagle offshore liftboat provided a physical representation of the company's offshore capability.
LKD coordinated the specialist model-building process, liaised with the model maker and managed display and delivery arrangements.
Presented in a protective acrylic display case on the exhibition stand, the model provided a distinctive focal point within the branded environment.
The completed Hamad Energy presence at African Energy Week 2026 demonstrated how a coordinated creative approach can connect multiple communication disciplines into one consistent experience.
The project delivered:
Rather than treating each element as a separate design assignment, the project brought strategy, creative direction, brand communication and production coordination together.
